Alison joined Simmons Wolfhagen in August 2010 after being a partner at Clerk Walker Lawyers in Hobart. She has extensive experience in conveyancing, leases and estate administration.
Alison’s areas of specialty cover a range of property and commercial matters including buying and selling property or business; commercial and residential leases; business names; as well as Wills, Power of Attorney, Power of Guardian and estate administration.
Alison is a member of the Property Law Committee (Law Society of Tasmania), Tasmanian Women Lawyers and the Golden Key International Honour Society. She is secretary of the Tasmanian branch of the International Commission of Jurists.
Alison has contributed to the University of Tasmania Law Review and the Tasmanian Law Reform Institute’s Report on the question of a Tasmanian Charter of Rights.
Outside working hours, Alison enjoys bushwalking, scuba diving, mountain bike riding and spending time with her family.
