James Walker

James was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in 1976 and was a Partner in the firm of Clerk Walker from 1977 until 2011. James is also a Commissioner of the Supreme Court and an Accredited Mediator.
He has extensive experience in the areas of property and commercial law. His major area of practice is in the areas of elder law, Wills and estate planning; providing advice to clients on the drafting of Wills and trusts and the administration of estates.
James has been the honorary legal advisor for the Hobart City Mission for 25 years and a board member of a number of aged care and community organisations.
James is married with 4 children and enjoys gardening, bushwalking and good books.
James joined Simmons Wolfhagen as a Consultant in 2012.
