Jane joined Simmons Wolfhagen in February 2009 and is an associate in the Litigation Department.
She advises a range of clients in relation to various disputes and specialises in employment law and workplace relations. Jane has extensive experience in employment law and workplace relations and has advised on, negotiated and implemented awards and enterprise bargaining agreements in a range of industries including heavy manufacturing, child care and hospitality.
Jane has also undertaken a number of internal workplace investigations on behalf of clients. She also drafts and advises on employment agreements.
Jane has managed a range of workplace disputes and internal disciplinary proceedings and has been a tribunal advocate. She has managed equity programs and workplace change and has developed, reviewed and implemented new workplace policies.
Jane is a Board member of Lady Gowrie Tasmania, serving as deputy chair during 2008 and 2010.
Jane is a member of the Australian Human Resources Institute, Tasmanian Women Lawyers, the Law Society of Tasmania and the Industrial Relations Society of Tasmania.
In her spare time, Jane enjoys spending time with her family, reading and exercising.
