Lauren is a Senior Associate operating out of the firm’s Hobart Office. As a dispute resolution / commercial litigation lawyer, Lauren is passionate about providing clients with practical advice, persuasively advocating for their interests, and resolving their disputes in a commercial, practical, and costs-sensitive way.

Lauren prides herself on being a highly organised, relatable, and reputable lawyer.

Lauren has experience in both New South Wales and Tasmania across a range of dispute in the Supreme Court, Federal Court, District Court (NSW), Magistrates/Local Court and Civil and Administrative Tribunals. She assists clients in navigating disputes in the following areas: civil, commercial, contractual, building and construction, property, contested estates (including statutory wills, probate, letters of administration, and family provision claims), post-employment, professional negligence, and intellectual property. Lauren has also previously acted for plaintiffs in personal injury (including public liability) and medical negligence, and she has assisted with thoroughbred and greyhound racing appeals.

Outside of work Lauren eagerly serves as the Acting President of the Launceston Tornadoes Basketball Club, being a female-only team participating in Australia’s semi-professional basketball league. Through this role Lauren has been directly exposed to the day-to-day difficulties executives face in running an organisation. Prior to becoming a lawyer Lauren likewise gained invaluable experience working in sport, hospitality, building and construction, property, and higher-education. Lauren frequently draws on her real-world experience when advising clients and developing matter strategies.
