As General Manager for Simmons Wolfhagen Michael assists in the day to day management of the firm. Areas of responsibility include:
- Accounting and finance
- Information technology
- Administration
- Trust accounting in compliance with the Legal Profession Act 2007 (Tas)
- Statutory compliance; and
- Human resources
Michael is a current member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Australia and has over 15 years experience in the audit, assurance and finance sectors, including 9 years as the Director of Finance and Information Technology for a large fiduciary company.
